Collection: Gerald Traicoff

Gerald Traicoff, American, Painting & Drawing, Classical and Contemporary Realism. I am a native of Indiana currently living in Carmel. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine arts from Ball State University in 1983. After graduating I worked for a small billboard and graphics company in Gaston, IN.

At the time computers were starting to become “the big thing”, so in 1985 I returned to Ball State University and got a MA degree in computer science. I continued doing artwork and in 2002 I joined the Indiana Plein Air Painters association and Hoosier Salon. I participated in a number of shows and juried competitions. During the following years my painting and drawing at times were limited to open studio nights at the Herron Arts School, Plein Air paint outs and other live drawing sessions.

In 2019 I returned to the studio in a more structured form of still life painting.
